CPS — Commercial Potential (30%): Suitability for advertising, film, TV, and sync. Driven by tempo proximity to genre benchmarks, loudness relative to streaming standards, and dynamic range.
PQS — Production Quality (25%): Technical quality measured against the Spotify −14 LUFS standard, dynamic range (6–14 dB ideal), frequency balance, and clipping detection.
ETCS — Emotional Tone Clarity (20%): Consistency of emotional register across the track, measured by energy variance.
GFS — Genre Fit (15%): How well the track's measured properties match the benchmark for the stated genre.
ODS — Originality (10%): Distinctiveness relative to genre norms. Partially informed by creator description at 3–5% weight.
Song Scout accepts AI-generated tracks (Suno, Udio, Mozart AI, and any platform), studio-produced tracks, and hybrid recordings. The scoring methodology evaluates acoustic properties — it does not distinguish how a track was made. What matters is how it sounds.
By submitting a track to Song Scout, the submitting creator confirms they hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit, display, stream, and commercially distribute the submitted recording — including master recording rights, composition rights, and any applicable platform terms of service.
Song Scout LLC assumes no liability whatsoever for copyright infringement, rights disputes, or licensing violations arising from submitted tracks. All such liability rests solely and entirely with the submitting creator.
Song Scout reserves the right to remove any track from the catalog at any time if a rights dispute arises or if reasonable cause exists to believe the submitting creator does not hold the stated rights.
This applies equally to AI-generated music and studio-produced human-performed recordings.
By using Song Scout, submitting a track, purchasing a download or license, or receiving a royalty payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
"Platform" — Song Scout, operated at app.songscout.org and any associated subdomains, APIs, or services operated by AI Music Group LLC.
"Company," "we," "us," or "our" — AI Music Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, and its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, licensors, successors, and assigns.
"Creator" or "you" — Any individual or entity who accesses the Platform, submits content, or makes a purchase.
"Submission" — Any audio recording, musical composition, or other content uploaded to the Platform.
"Qualifying Track" — A Submission receiving a composite commercial score of 60 or above.
"Song Scout Score" — The numerical output of the AI Scoring Engine. Scores are informational only and do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or representation of commercial viability, originality, or market value.
By using the Platform in any manner — including browsing, submitting a track, purchasing a download or license, or receiving a royalty payment — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
By submitting a track, you represent, warrant, and covenant that:
By submitting a Qualifying Track, you grant AI Music Group LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-bearing, sublicensable license to host, store, stream, preview, distribute, sell, and license the Submission in accordance with the download and licensing tiers described on the Platform. This license does not transfer ownership of your Submission.
Song Scout reserves the right to remove any Submission at any time, including upon receipt of a copyright infringement notice, reasonable belief of rights infringement, or violation of these Terms. Removal does not entitle the Creator to a refund of the submission fee.
The Engine measures acoustic properties — tempo, loudness, dynamic range, spectral characteristics, energy consistency — and compares them against genre benchmarks. It does not evaluate subjective artistic merit, lyrical content, cultural relevance, market timing, or the legal status of any recording.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, financial, musical, or commercial advice. Creators should consult qualified legal counsel before commercially exploiting any musical work.
A non-refundable submission fee of $5.00 USD is charged per track. Payment does not guarantee catalog entry. Tracks scoring below 60 are not added to the Catalog. The submission fee is non-refundable regardless of scoring outcome.
All purchases are final. No refunds are provided except where required by applicable law. Pricing may be amended at any time without prior notice.
Creators receive 70% of net revenue from downloads and licenses of their Qualifying Tracks. "Net revenue" means gross transaction revenue after deduction of payment processing fees. AI Music Group LLC retains 30% of net revenue.
Creators are solely responsible for all tax obligations arising from royalty payments. The Company may require IRS Form W-9 or applicable W-8 before issuing payments above applicable thresholds, and will issue IRS Form 1099 where required by law.
Creator Indemnification: Creator agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AI Music Group LLC and all Company Parties from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) any Submission; (b) any breach of Creator's representations or warranties; (c) Creator's use of the Platform; or (d) any violation of applicable law by Creator.
The Song Scout platform, AI Scoring Engine, scoring methodology, five-dimension commercial scoring system, Behavioral Signal Threshold (BST) methodology, software, design, and branding are the exclusive property of AI Music Group LLC, protected by US and international patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws. A provisional patent application was filed with the USPTO on June 21, 2026.
No license to any Song Scout intellectual property is granted except the limited license to use the Platform as described herein.
By providing your email and opting in, you consent to receive transactional and marketing communications from Song Scout. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. The Company does not sell your email address to third parties.
The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform at any time without liability. Terms may be updated by posting revised Terms on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by Wyoming law. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules in Los Angeles County, California. You waive any right to a jury trial and agree to individual (non-class) arbitration.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain in full force. The Company's failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.
